Gut Dysbiosis

The human microbiome is the collection of bacteria, viruses, and fungi that live in and on the human body. It’s a part of the immune system, protects against pathogens, and helps balance inflammation.

Dysbiosis occurs when the healthy composition and diversity of the microbiome change. It’s believed to play a role in the development of food allergies, asthma, and eczema.

Indications of dysbiosis can include digestive, immune, neurological, or hormonal symptoms.

“Dr. Sue’s comprehensive approach pieced together the pieces of the puzzle for me that I couldn’t between our pediatrician and lots of reading! The testing she did made sense and the results helped me better understand my son’s health needs.” – Carly Elia
